Eugenics in USSR

Do you know, that commies have Eugenics too? For example, they soviet psychiatrists had programs to sterilize mentally disabled people, so they won't produce offsprings. Such practice is sill widespread in Russia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compulsory_sterilization#Russia

What's worse, sterilizing people with disabilities which will be passed onto their kids if they were able to have any, or letting them reproduce and then letting their kids and grandkids suffer?
