Atheist doesn't imply all that, just refusing to believe in a god(s).
I actually know that gods exist, and they are on different reality planes(astral/mental/spiritual planes), yet i don't worship them or perform any ritual. Religion is a pattern of spiritual submission and ignorance, only existing to target NPCs and the morally weak. It exploits the NPCs to enrich and empower religious leaders, it doesn't have a goal of spiritual enlightenment - just mental slavery to laws and human-made rituals.
