When people post shit like "kill yourself, faggot SJW" in every other post, even when your post isn't SJW-ish by any stretch of the imagination, it's just boring and demonstrates poor communication skills on their part. There is also a high portion of the userbase that seems to think that everyone is a paid shill and all posts that don't along with their hivemind are part of some conspiratorial cabal. I'm actually conservative but I get called SJW there for talking about technology and usability instead of being a paranoid freetard.
It kills discussion because would rather just devolve into insults instead of being able to discuss anything on any meaningful level. If you don't have their exact same opinions, you're a cuck shill CIA poster, or something, apparently.
Shock value for the sake of shock value is boring. I like /lounge/ and /prog/ because there is some edgyness but it isn't overdone. 8chan is a lost cause.
