How could anyone fail at completely basic logic?
1. Fact: humans exist and are a species (or more than one)
2. Fact: there was something that we don't classify as humans, but some other species
3. Fact: there is a direct path of descendants from at least one of the beings in point 2 to at least one human
Obvious conclusion: humans have evolved from earlier species

You must be a christian to not see something so obviously true.
