30 years old

30 years old is when you start to be really old and you no longer have potential.

If you haven't gotten a degree and a career and a wife by 30, it's too late. Might as well throw in the towel. After that, nobody will want to hire you if you're doing a career change, and getting a degree while working is hard, especially if your job pays poorly. And when you're that old, your options for dating are terrible. You can either settle for a really ugly woman, someone with issues like drugs or mental health problems, or a single mom. And they've all fucked TONS of dudes already.

I'm not 30 years old, but I wonder if I'll still be in the same boat when I get to be that old. If I'm not successful by then, I might as well off myself. Otherwise, you'll just live a long life of perpetual misery. There are worse fates than death, such as being alone or poor. Long bouts of isolation and/or poverty will change you into a very ugly person, inside and out.

There is no "trolling, man" in this thread, people just want to save you guys from the oppressive fear that ends up being self-fulfilling. You can find meaning in life and you can learn to accept yourself, but you have to let it happen.

I do trust that one day you will look back on your current attitude and wonder how you could have been so confused, at that point you will be compelled to help others escape just like we at /lounge/ helped you. That's why the true religion never dies.
