Define ``their'' country please, the only ones that can be thought as having the ownership of a country are its rulers.

Are people allowed to steal your house and land and job and money just because their life situation sucks?

No, which is why they are not stealing them - they legally and honourably buy your house and land only if you want with the money that they worked hard for. Moreover a job can't be stolen, it is something that is assigned by a company to a person out of the will of the company, usually due to some property that this person has, such as in the case of foreigners, lower wages.
But going by your own logic, are people allowed to steal your opportunities and freedom just because they don't want their wage to go down by 1%?
