This association of any comfort with weakness, femininity and degeneracy is one thing that convinces me that "toxic masculinity" might be real(despite that i'm firmly against feminism).

"Toxic masculinity" might be an aspect of evolutionary adaptation to constant tribal warfare in Paleolithic and survival vs animals earlier.
In modern society these paleo-warriors(mostly less civilized minorities) end up in jail, dead from gang warfare(eerily resembling tribal competition of territory control) or overdosing on drugs(which all primitive people succumb easily).

Comfort is the centerpiece of civilization. Safety, stability, progress(both scientific and social) rely on presence of comfort and leisure/free/surplus time. It doesn't mean all people with leisure time develop something, just a small creative minority.
Even in "hard times" the few who have comfort and resources, have time to develop new inventions and means to overcome adversity. If everyone has zero comfort and is always in survival mode, society falls back to primitive Paleolithic methods of living that exclude progress in favor of immediate needs(food production, immediate safety) and basic wants(drugs to numb emotional pain/memory).

First, you're getting pretty worked up about losing the comforts of Western Civilization, where is that enthusiasm for "pain and hardship makes you strong"?
Second, i don't have much influence on the course of history, realistically you'd also amount to nothing more than a footnote in history even if you try.
Third, you're thinking that if Animal Species A outbreeds Species B its somehow awarded victory points, civilizations don't collapse like that.
If a race/species/faction have superior tech/control/knowledge/culture they dominate the rest indefinitely.
Civilizations collapse because they either
A.Require too much resources to function(overpopulation/resource depletion).
B. Can't handle internal threats(like climate change).
C. Lose intrinsic knowledge due some event(how to rebuild everything after a solar flare fries all electronics).
Average joe being replaced by average jose doesn't change civilization, because average joe isn't a critical part.
