My old iPhone was physically falling apart, so I decided to get a new phone, which I am using to post right now. My friend recommended this one Android phone, so I got it. I didn't have the cash for a new iPhone anyway, and I wanted to show my friend that I respect his recommendations and opinions. Big mistake.
The keyboard sucks ass. The built-in bloatware that you can't remove sucks ass. The touch screen isn't as precise as my old iPhone. The screen randomly turns on even when I am not touching it. I get notifications from the annoying built-in app that you apparently can't disable. And guess what? It has a slightly older version of Android and it won't get new versions. It will get security fixes for a while, supposedly, bit it will never get any Android release past Oreo. Outdated software on a brand new phone. And yeah, there is an SD card slot, but you can't store everything on it, so it's not as useful as it sounds. Some things can only use the internal storage. Lastly, there is a lot of malwsre for Android, and even in the app store there is less vetting compared to what Apple does, this keyboard lagged for a few seconds as I was writing this holy shit, becsusd Google has worse wuality control. Also the autocrrcg is not as good. And since it's Google it's probably sending all my data to their servers to be data mined. Also the night light filter thing on iOS is better than the one for Android. It's like f.lux but for mobile, forgot the exact name.
At least it has all the same apps I used on iOS. But it's still an inferior experience. The only better thing compared to iOS is being able to use Termux.
