you'll cowards don't even pursue your hopes and dreams

Name: Anonymous 2018-07-05 22:20

That's pointless busywork to distract you from the slow drip of being bled dry. Hopes and dreams exist in the the common consciousness, since you are a slave in the factory farm your hopes and dreams are simply what you have been told to desire as a good citizen. That's the tragedy of modern consumerism, individual goals are always disappointing and serve to trap you in endless striving and consuming because we are social creatures who need to feel part of something meaningful beyond our personal situation.

But nobody (other than textboarders) tells you that, old people are embarrassed they dedicated their life to achieving something so disappointing and worthless as their personal goals so they lie and tell you it is worth it. But it's not, you will be scammed and let down every step of the way and die tired fat and angry. Of course, you will have to lie and pretend you are happy being kept busy chasing your pitiful "dreams" because you have been tricked into thinking it is somehow a personal failing to accept there is nothing worth achieving in a factory farm slave scenario.

That sounds like a completely self-defeating attitude. Are you depressed? It sounds like you're trying to rationalize not putting in the effort to get the results you want.

I agree to some extent that life is rigged, especially by those in power, but even so, you have to try. You can't just be an apathetic nihilist. There are very real goals to work towards. Don't give up, even if it seems hard or insurmountable. Change doesn't happen overnight, but it can happen if you put time and effort in.

Hopes and dreams shouldn't be pleb shit, it can be something like having a good career to fund having a family so you can raise kids who actually have a moral compass in our increasingly-degenerate society which is in desperate need of people who can steer civilization back on the right path. That's a noble cause, don't you think? And you can teach them programming too. You can tell them your opinions about the tragedy of modern consumerism, just like you mentioned. Don't you want your ideas and work to continue even when you're gone?

Some of my friends from high school are already having kids, and one of them is teaching his kid to play video games already. I think that's really sad. People are devolving and getting into bread and circus as an escape for how terrible their life is, as opposed to trying to fix problems. Leisure is their reason to live. A useless existence, except to help line other people's pockets thanks to the Ponzi scheme we call capitalism.

Despite the name, computer science isn't really about computers. Algorithms, complexity theory, combinatorics, math... it's about problem-solving. I am a problem solver. There are many problems in the world and I want to help fix them. I know I'm only one person, but if I gave up, that would be one less person in the world trying to make things better.

We need to stop destroying the planet. We need to colonize mars. We need to reverse the degeneracy of the 21st century (moral decay, mass immigration, etc). We need to overthrow globalist elites who are ruining the world just so they can get some short-term profits. We need to end population replacement in western countries. We need to collectively get our shit together so we can explore the universe, learn more about existence, and continue the existence of our people.

Instead of saying "society sucks, give up" you should have an attitude along the lines of "society sucks, let's do what we can to fix it!"

Don't accept the status quo. Just because things are the way they are now doesn't mean they always will be. Society has undergone rapid change in the past few decades, some good things, some bad. But it's not going to continue to be exactly the way it is now. We can undo some of the horrible things that are currently in place.

"Change" is constantly happening overnight and change is not inherently good. But go ahead and "put effort in" for your change, that doesn't sound at all like an inspiring platitude to keep you busy and consuming in the factory farm.

Hopes and dreams shouldn't be pleb shit, it can be something like having a good career to fund having a family so you can raise kids
I thought you said they didn't have to be pleb shit? Maybe instead of fearing "giving up" in such a pathological manner, you should consider that cutting your losses is reasonable and honorable. You may have sunk a lot into this idea that "having children" and "good career" are worthwhile, but a simple look around will prove otherwise -- humans are not apes, doing our biological duty and working a "career" does not calm the pain of existence.

Having a good career or children is just another surface-level occurrence that you have to actively delude yourself into seeing as more meaningful than other life options, blindly aiming towards it as though it is somehow less soul-crushing will only lead to disappointment and missed opportunities. You will still die and only a retard thinks they live on in the "genes" of their children, so why be determined to set a path in your temporary life when it won't change the inevitable end? And what if you fail at your career or choose the wrong wife? Suicide? Doesn't that make you the ultimate slave? Even most niggers find something to do with themselves when they cannot find a master to serve. Are you lower than a nigger?

You will cowards?

It's mostly about mindset: if you are a slave trying to "make things better" then really you are just contributing to the obesity and laziness/entitlement epidemics. I mean, everybody has big dreams of "making things better" but it always comes back to developing some shitty convenience app that saves like 3 seconds of work for some nasty pleb phone user.

But if your mindset is realistic, and you see that the world is inherently hostile and probably literally hell, you can act in a defensive frenzy and lash out at random which genuinely "makes things better" since humans thrive on danger and complexity and struggle.

Ok then smart guy, so what are you doing in life, and what are your goals? Or is this all just long-winded rationalization for not doing anything with your life and having no aspirations? You are quick to be dismissive of my goals, while you yourself have said nothing about your own.
