In addition to a correlation with psychological disorders such as OCD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder, T. gondii can also lead to infected people having a higher risk of being in a car accident than uninfected individuals.[62] A study in the Czech Republic found that latent toxoplasmosis patients were involved in accidents 2.65 times more often than people without toxoplasmosis infection.[62] The risk also increased with significantly higher amounts of T. gondii antibodies in the host cells.[62]
