I pay for spotify premium for the mobile app though.
This brings up the question of web vs. mobile apps.
Which do you prefer? I use apps for certain things, and websites for others.

>>2 the mobile app is far superior of course. just about everything on mobile is faster and easier to use than the web version. but it's difficult to block ads on mobile (requires a rootable Android device + editing the hosts file).
I have never paid for media in my life and am not about to start now. worst comes to worst, I'll go back to torrenting FLAC rips and carrying around an SD card.

>>9 Firefox OS is dead, isn't it? I remember that, for a while, you could install it on select Android phones.

>>10 Yeah it's discontinued. Windows phone appear to be still on the market, however. If I bought a smartphone it would be Windows phone. But I literally don't need a smartphone.

>>11 I could be wrong, but I read somewhere that Windows Phone will only get security updates from now on -- no feature updates. So it's basically on life support at this point.

Shit, there really isn't a viable alternative to google/apple now. Doesn't bode well.
