Autismal Anime Cringe

This is the feeling i get when watching any anime. The cringey feeling of third-rate simulacrum prepared in some chinese sweatshop. People know me as an anime fan, but deep inside i built up disgust to anime studio gimmicks and begin to recognize the directors "artistic" choices(these being pure shit designed by boomers with no understanding of memes and with no advancement in 20 years!).
Anime audience eats it up, they're don't realize how cliche and shallow most of anime plots sound, how rehashed and recolored bullshit is manufactured on mass scale.
Its like reading the source code for the matrix, matrix being a really intricate mod of quake3 with all the flaws and design limits of the original.

Watch actual cinema, then. I like Michael Haneke,Tsai Ming-liang, the early filmographies of Tsion Sono and Gaspar Noe.

I agree, problem is Western animation hasn't really gotten over its decades long slump so anime seems fresh, new and interesting by comparison. I wonder if Japan has their own sort of Generation Z anti-Boomer rebels that will change the culture of anime in the coming decades. We'll have to see.
