Beneath the thinly-veiled /r9k/ bitterness and shitposting, there's an important perspective that we often forget about. People have debated for decades as to whether or not a robot could achieve human-like thought--and whether that would make them conscious. The question becomes, would these hypothetical robots have real orgasms or faked orgasms?
