Were textboards ever good?

I used to think maybe textboards sounded cool in the past, memes, milkribs, and lots of laughs. But now, I'm thinking they were actually gay and not cool from the start.

You are thinking of /b/ from 4Chan, lil buddy. nobody has EVER said "/prog/ was never good" OR "remember when /prog/ was good". Replace /prog/ with /b/ from 4Chan, however, and you would be on to something.
