If Japanese censorship and laws and its affect on their porn industry has taught us anything, it's that more censorship, counter intuitively, is incredibly conducive to innovation in that respective field. Anti-pedo lobbyists don't want to ban loli, because doing so when take away their reactionary power. If they get the legislature they want, they have nothing to protest against.

You know, we talk about child porn a lot on here and how people want to stop the production of it, but how much child porn is actually in circulation, really? I feel like it's the same 50 videos being republished over and over again with no progression. Although that's probably just because all the publishers are honey pots.

I saw plenty when I used to browse Tor a lot years back, always saw fresh material, might be different now I guess. There's a push now in the mainstream for pedophilia to be accepted as just another normal sexual orientation and I could see at least possession of child pornography becoming decriminalized in the next five to ten years in various countries if present trends continue. Already you have underage girls 8-11 years old twerking and shaking ass on YouTube and they're quite popular and more often than not receive positive than negative feedback.

That's a really optimistic outlook. And how do you know that the legalization of pedophilia isn't just going to foster much stronger reactionary action among the majority of people that wouldn't tolerate that?

There were strong reactionary action against homoqueer marriage in the USA and France, yet both countries legalized homoqueer marriage anyway. See California's Proposition 8 referendum in 2008, for example. The majority voted in favor of recognizing that marriage is between a man and a woman in the state of California and the California Supreme Court even ruled in their favor, but when the Federal courts intervened, they invoked "muh Fourteenth Amendment" and struck it down. That eventually paved the way for national recognition of homoqueer marriage.

Same with France, there were huge protests against homoqueer marriage in France, but former president François Hollande went ahead with it anyway. So it doesn't matter. Same thing will happen in the area of pedophilia, child-adult relationships and child pornography. Who knows, it might take longer than I predict, it might be sooner, but it's definitely down the pike at some point in the future.

I don't really think that the flagrant sexualization of children in the mainstream is really representative of the mainstream attitude towards pedophilia. Not just for the obvious fact that media from Hollywood is so much more liberal than the rest of America. Because you see the superficial intimations of pedophilia in so much of the United States, especially in the Bible belt, where people watch the Superbowl (and those child cheerleaders, thereby) and they have child beauty pagents and all sorts of overtly pedophilic stuff. The Bible belt, in addition to being the most religious part of America, is the biggest consumer of regular porn and also the biggest proliferator of child porn. I don't think that's any big sercret, really, but why is that?

The point made in >>84 I think sums it up. For the same reason that a father can lovingly, innocently caress his child or whatever and not seem like a creep, it's because it's far more established in the South than in the North that pedophilia is a bad thing, and should be chastised. When a mother bathes her child it's just a given that she doesn't think of her children in a sexual nature. When people watch children twerk on TV, it's built on the premise that people don't percieve anything inherently sexual in children.

Christian sexual morality combined with a "mainstream" culture of gaudy, hypersexual, degenerate, anything goes entertainment/media/academia that "challenges" modest Christian behavior as being oppressive and while people might reject such things outright, they will sometimes internalize such things unconsciously. But this is a case of a (((certain people))) playing both sides (that they created in the first place to begin with) against the middle to achieve the objective that they originally intended in the first place. I have to also object the increasingly outdated notion that the Southeastern United States is the most degenerate, I would say where things stand, the entire nation is headed towards unbridled degeneracy in some cases far more and widespread than the architects of the Weimar Republic could have ever dreamed.

I will say, though, that suppressing sexual desire helps one to improve one's own internal discipline, but this shouldn't be done on the premise that if you have sexual urges that you will automatically go to hell because you acted on them (like for example, because you masturbated to porn).

It's simply that domestic abuse is generally more expected of in minorities and thus a certain kind of incestuous pedophilia, thereby. Peter Sotos had a zine I read growing up that was really fascinating. But I think his audio records are really the most insightful. You should listen to them. They're really good. It may seem like it focuses on white people a lot, but keep in mind that Sotos is an American. And in the context of that, there's actually a pretty apt mix of different races of girls/boys (but mostly girls) and their reports on being raped as well as a lot of other good tidbits.
