I was part of original /jp/. I was a Touhou shitposter on /a/ before there was a /jp/. I was there on day 0 when moot created the containment board.
I stayed for four years. But then the summer of the third year, too many summerfags inundated the board with their shit. The culture of /jp/ shifted too far, and I was left an outcast. I stuck around for another year, but there was no going back.
Sometimes I read through old threads from 2008-2011 on /ghost/.

Both shitposting and goodposting on the old Jay were lovely and genuinely fun. Even the dumb was well thought out. And making up NEET stories while not even actually being NEET was a challenge to creativity. Then shitposting was no longer about fun, it was about posting niggy and pissing off janny.
