Lets be honest, pedos are inborn spies and can be easily recruited by foreign agencies to infiltrate enemy government or corporate structures. Pedos can never get out of closet or be legalized like say gays. That is why all governments are so afraid of pedos. Besides maybe islamic stated, where pedophilia is legal.

Exactly. Intelligence agencies have means to discover pedos, like hosting pedo resources or organizing sex tourism. A pedophile may be proud american patriot, but faced with danger of being exposed, he could be serving say russian or chinese interest.

Protecting the young from predators is deep and universal instinct that is common with most animals.
Pedophiles are the anti-thesis for the entire culture built to support the human species procreating and protecting each other - its not hard to see them as the ultimate monster preying on the weakest and most innocent part of humanity, a part which continuing existence our species values the most.
Psychologically they're viewed as something outside of humanity that threatens the next generation and future existence, their comfort and security.
More remote than a renegade or an outlaw, they have no other redeeming qualities to endear themself to the public culture, so they will remain monsters and targets of hatred in all of its forms.
Doesn't surprise me pedophiles are ultimate political pawns,
its the equivalent of declaring a politician a human-eating lizard within a human suit and the claim being found as true.

Wouldn't that make it useless then? The Russian and Chinese spies are no more capable at finding American pedophiles than the NSA or CIA is, so there is no point in using them because they would just be found out.

They aren't taking any high roads, especially when it's not that big of a deal anyway. More worrisome is that people at the Pentagon were buying it. Good thing they got caught before Ivan started blackmailing them for intel, but that's not really a spy position probably.

They like feeling better than someone, and pedos are generally average people, not insane thugs, who can be easily bullied and beaten while the guards look the other way. You send a judge to prison for shoplifting and he's going to have the same treatment. People say "haha, even criminals hate and kill them!
