if you cannot achieve it
But that depends on one's discretion, which can be subjective, hence is equivalent to "as one sees fit".

Muhammed wasn't in immediate danger when he broke his treaty with the Meccans and attacked their city. It seems to me you're lying about Islam. Are you Muslim yourself.

To me it sounds like you're taking "you can do A if you can't do B" and making it into "do whatever you want".

Are you? (I'm not, btw) Also, as mentioned above in >>35, Muhammed's violation of his treaty with the Meccans was not claimed to be an example of Taqiyya, though it was definitely deceptive. >>39 was talking about Taqiyya specifically, and Taqiyya IS a specific form of deception, namely denying Islamic faith when doing so is necessary to avoid persecution and danger. Breaking a treaty really isn't in that category, so I don't think it would be classified as Taqiyya.

Deceive these dubs

It's not me who's making it into that, it's human nature. Most people have an easy time inventing excuses for themselves. Christianity is precise and forthright about this: "Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another."
Islam, on the other hand, is a liar's religion and their prophet gives direct examples why you should never trust a Muslim.

>>43
So your only point is terminological differences, is that all? Get fucked, I don't need to hair split over some Muslim terms.

The whole point of religion is to counter the tendencies of human nature by instituting divine laws. So I find your argument specious.

Yes, and that makes the Muslim "divine laws" all the more spurious. What kind of divine law is "you shouldn't lie but you can if you feel like you can make an excuse to yourself"?

I'm just saying Taqiyya is a very specific concept, using it to refer to violating a treaty isn't really accurate.
