When a theistic person says "if humans evolved from monkeys, how there are still monkeys", I don't go out of my way to give them a lecture about evolutionary biology. Something so absurd does not warrant my effort. There are specialists that work very hard dedicating themselves to such a thing. There are people that have the patience to work with something like this. I'm not one of them. When I was 14 or so I loved debating religious people. I'm past that phase.
I'm not going to sit here and lecture you on right and wrong. That's something that you have already been failed for. But I ask you one thing. If you don't care about your own privacy; if you don't have ethical qualms about supporting a corporation that consistently works with the government to steal, lie, and cheat people out of their privacy for the sake of profit; if you can truly say that you have never felt violated by people using this kind of technology for malicious purposes, can you at least have the decency to not question others who disagree with you?
The global pandemic of computer illiteracy takes its toll on us all. And you are part of what upholds it.
