Be careful of ridiculous people

Methods for evaluating ridiculous people (ridiculous people = flaming/trolls/etc.)

 – People that say "everyone's opinion" "everyone else thinks so too" etc. to insist that their own opinion is others as well.- People that won't accept the reality that others are different from them. If their opinion doesn't go through like they want they'll start copy pasting, trolling, and generally causing a ruckus, so please ignore such people.

 – People that look down on others with no basis, discriminating people, praising themselves- People that comfort themselves by looking down on others. They haven't had the chance to be praised by others in real life, only their pride is high. They're a person without anyone to talk to but an anonymous bulletin board. They're pathetic so ignore them.

 – People that just write what they personally feel- People that think there's value to posting their own feelings on a bulletin board like "I'm offended by ~~". If they said how they were offended by what and wrote it in a logical way, then it'd be a worthwhile sentence even to the others reading. However the person who said that is usually incapable of logical thinking. Ignore them and wait for them to get a bit smarter on their own instead.

the internet is an ocean of ridiculousness.

nowadays people equate being offended with being right

They rightly equate being offended with having undue power, so it makes sense.

There are near-infinity ways a person can act ridiculously and only a few ways to act logically.

the universe isn't infinite though

How can you possibly know that, when your own stupidity has been proven to be infinite by Einsteingoldberg himself.

Are there different scales of infinity?
If I have a set of every multiple of 5, that would be infinite.
If I have a set of every multiple of 2, that would also be infinite.
But there are more multiple of 2 than multiples of 5. So is one infinite set bigger than another?

There is a bijection between the two sets, so no. |{x:2x}|=|{x:5x}|
an=2n
bn=5n
5x=ax+3x=bx for all x in the set of natural numbers. So for every multiple of two, you also know get a multiple of five (and vice versa), so the cardinality of the two different infinite sets is equal.

One can also talk about the ``density'' (I think that it the term) of a set of natural numbers. S is your subset and you define f(n) = |S intersect {1, 2, ..., n}|, so the number of elements of S that are less than or equal to n. Then consider the asymptotic growth of f.

Excuse me, but those are referred to as ``Nikita quotes'', or ``Idiot quotes'', and that quoting style is protected /prog/ heritage.

I wish white people were this racist and protective of their identity and land.

that would imply that white people have an identity
