Someone asked me if I could set up their old scanner with their current computer. Turns out the scanner is so old it has drivers for Windows 95 and Mac OS 8. No Windows 7 drivers though. I had to painstakingly explain that computers aren't magic and drivers are required in order to interact with devices like printers and scanners.
