What is bad is your lack of standards. I bet you prefer Gelbooru over Danbooru and save anything that barely resembles your favorite character regardless of quality.

The loli block and the tag limit are indeed big nuisances, though some blocked pictures are still available on their source link and individual pictures with multiple tags can be found using Google (or Gelbooru).

These aren't, however, reasons to use Gelbooru as your primary source of drawings. Their quality standards are pretty much non-existent. There hasn't been a single good picture I saved from Gelbooru that wasn't available at Danbooru, though there are many Gelbooru-only images that aren't even worth looking at, given their shittiness that's immediately visible from the thumbnails.

Danbooru should be your primary source, though you shouldn't give that Ruby-loving kike a single penny. Use Gelbooru only if you love your character that much and are willing to save pictures of her regardless of quality. Shitkaku Complex's pretty good at suggesting related picturess, by the way.

Just use a script to unblock loli on danbooru, or something. If you want to browse through a sea of a diarrhea to get one cute pic, just go to pixiv, at least there you can find images that aren't on neither of the boorus, and you won't have to browse through disgusting western shit to get to it like on gelbooru.

I only ever use gelboory once in a blue moon because it has more gifs than danbooru and it's still better than tumblr.
