Now isn't that a dishonest attempt to conflate concepts that are no more than homonyms at this point. The patriarchal society where in the leader of the household is the father does exist of course. The patriarchy that exists in feminist theory is almost a conspiracy theory that gets blamed for any inconvenience. It is the feminist equivalent of complaining about the Jews.

This is another example of what I was talking about in the first point. Many people, including some feminists, do mistakenly interpret "the patriarchy" as referring to a systematic conspiracy to oppress women. Rather, it simply refers to the idea that the society is structured around men, and women are oppressed and marginalized as a consequence of that structure, even without men as a group consciously planning to do so.

The most popular conceptualization is what a word refers too, not the narrow and convenient meaning you have choosen here. Anyway, I disagree with what your claim that the conspiratorial interpretation is not the most popular, and that it is limited to society being designed for men. It is blamed for things as diverse as women not agreeing with some academic feminists' platforms (ironically, accusations of "internalized misogyny" being a more gendered centric phrase standing in for "false consciousness", dismissing that any but a hard core elite could possibly have a valid view being just as heirarchical and domineering as the "Patriarchy" itself) to women fighting amongst themselves to heteronormativity. That's no even including the batshit crazy shit I've read in feminist education theory where the rigidity of numbers are accused of being patriarchal. The scope of issues covered by the concept is extremely broad. Hence why I sat it is just the feminist version of internet nazis blaming all their inadequacies on the Jews.
