Sonic the Hedgehog 1&2 Soundtrack. "Sweet Sweet Sweet" is a song by Japanese band Dreams Come True for their studio album The Swinging Star. The song's melodies are played during the ending theme of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. In 1994, an English version was released titled "Sweet Dream" as a B-side on the single "Winter Song".

It so happened that the band Dreams Come True was recording a new album, and there was a song that was attracting a lot of attention from the Japanese, the song Sweet Dream, but due to some limitations of the Mega Drive, they couldn't include the vocals, so they compressed and made the song play without the vocals and all the instrumental details.
Tails was originally planned to be female. Evidence comes from original design documents for Sonic 2, plus the addition of the song Sweet Dream, from the Japanese group “Dreams Come True”, which one of the members wrote the music for Sonic 1 and 2.
