@mdavis2703 2 years ago (edited) Both Priest and Maiden developed formulaic chord changes. The priest one is the interval of say A to C to G like say Hot rockin' They do it in many keys and tons of tunes. Maiden's is say E to C to D like say Trooper and many others. The priest one is more sharp and rocking the maiden one is a slower interval in the mind and got really boring to me. On the powerslave album they started getting really formulaic and I lost interest.
This is absolutely awesome!!! For those interested I have 2 bands like Priest for you to check out Primal Fear and Striker. Check out the new Striker album "Ultrapower" it is incredible!!!
