Greg Young All I know is when Priest announced the “farewell tour” (I know, what a joke right…insert whichever band that has lied about that the last 25 years) at the time when I first heard it mentioned I got a little nervous it was actually going to happen. Then in a week or less it was announced it wasn’t going to be a farewell tour, just an end to long world tours (again lies). Then a day or two later, KK announces he’s not going to participate in the tour and is retiring. And at that time there was mention from him (because he was asked, or he made the statement on his own, I don’t remember exactly how it went down) of, in his words, “lack of energy” live and “management issues”. So the crap goes all the way back to when he left…nothing new. I guess when he gets asked a question, he could take the high road, but hell, what fun would that be for farcebook 😂🥸🥱🙄🤠🤩🍻🤯😱😈

Bruce Hayes KK, I love you man. You are a awsome and underrated guitarist. I do believe that there was some back door B.S. with management and stuff that ultimately pushed you to leaving the band. You have a great band of your own with one of the best voices of a newer generation. I'd just drop it and move on.

Per Slappy I don't understand why he keeps whining instead of concentrating on his own band. K.K.'s Priest currently beats the so called "Judas Priest" hands down. Tipton & Downing gone there's no real JP anymore. More like "Halford feat. Ian Hill plays Judas Priest" or something.

Chris Davis Fans can say what they want. Not a fan of KK spewing any chance but I can only imagine seeing something HE created carry on and nothing he can do. I was totally siding w Priest for most of it, but KKs got some legit complaints and frankly I’m DONE paying to watch Sneap on stage. These guys had the perfect chance to give us the fans a proper 50 w getting KK back. They blew it! To the band: y’all need to grow a set and man up. Your end is near and there are ALWAYS two sides. As a fan it’s sad we don’t ever hear your side other then KK retired. Yes he slings the mud but you’re losing fans w your it takes 6 months to market a new album. Playing the same songs over and over along w letting your manager dictate your every move. Her garbage alone recalling the HOF w KK was odd. AND to invite KK and Binks as “their guest”???? Grow a set Ian and take control. Glenn’s sick and your manager is a dolt.

He's living his dream, and acts like it.

Charles Reagan Stop whining and slinging mud about such nonsense. You have your own band now. Honestly your not a strong supporting band for a main headliner. Getting big events for better and bigger crowds to make some money, is proving difficult. When this starts happening you pull out and play your favorite card. “Why won’t priest have me back” or something to that affect. Your running and taking care of it all now. The business side is tiring and stressful. You only have two options. Shut up and put up Or quit. Whatever you decide shut up and just do it. Your a grown ass man. Act like it.

Charles Reagan Creatively your missing the mark. First CD was ok for a first release but nothing musically really grabbed me and stood out. Second CD stronger but much of the same. There’s no soul I don’t feel it. You have a group of talented musicians but the creative process is suffering. You have to have strong soulful songs that’ll grab you and have a strong impression. That doesn’t mean write bluesy songs. It means, you need to write your version of, delivering the goods, exciter, living after midnight, screaming for vengeance, pain killer. I’ll say it again in a different way. Gives us a pain killer that will ease the frustration of todays cultural problems plaguing society today. Put some metal into the cause. Give us an exciter that unleashes our soul and energizes us. Gives us a hellion and an electric eye that rises to the occasion and takes me to place I soar above my personal struggles for a brief moment in time. Give us a living after midnight anthem that we can crank up and share with our kids driving to one of you shows. You have technical prowness but no life is in the songs. Quit trying to prove yourself Your to absorbed with proving yourself and it shows in the songs. You have 100 percent complete musical freedom to create some great stuff. I can’t speak for everyone but that’s a pretty good place to be. Forget about priest. The whole priest thing is creating roadblocks and getting in the way and hindering from experiencing musical freedom.

By 1973, Judas Priest had cut a few demos, toured the U.K. in support of bands like Budgie, Thin Lizzy and secured management by Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi’s IMA agency. But a recording contract continued to elude them, so a cash-strapped Atkins decided to quit, followed in short order by Campbell, which opened the door for a new frontman named Rob Halford (whose sister was dating bassist Ian Hill) and his Hiroshima bandmate, drummer John Hinch. It was this quartet that spent the next year honing Judas Priest’s repertoire until it was ready to attract that long awaited label contract from independent Gull Records.

Brad Earp You voluntarily announced your intention to "retire" and concentrate on your golf course and that unfortunately ended in administrative/bankruptcy. Had your business venture been a success and profitable you wouldn't give a crap about getting back into Judas and going back out on the road and resume grinding it out in front of smaller crowds at 70 years old. So, while you were off doing the golf thing all the dynamics in Judas shifted on every level. Ian Hill isn't making that call denying you the "opportunity of being back in Judas" that's Rob and Glenn. K.K.'s book didn't help matters either. And why pay K.K. more than they have to pay Faulkner and Sneep combined who have zero ownership in Judas? The lion's share of the touring dollars are being split 3 ways between Rob, Glenn and to a lesser extent Ian. Who needs K.K. to dilute that pot at this point? And Sneep contributes on multi-levels not just playing guitar. Every interview I read or hear K.K sounds like he is surprised that he isn't in Judas anymore and somehow has been blindsided. You walked away from it! K.K. will never get it.
