The Neutron is a proton with a close electron (e P) Maybe the proton is 2 positrons with a massive Negative thing (p-N-p) Maybe like in a tre-foil configuration. Maybe they are in a configuration like mickey ears Maybe the Neutron is the close electron is caught between the influence of the two positrons, while repelled by the massive N egative thing. e p p \N/
Maybe the Negative thing is lots of positrons and electrons very closely coupled. And the stable arrangement of these is an arrangement with an odd number of positrons vs electrons with the electrons outnumbering the positrons by 1. Maybe the massive thing is like a 3 sided pyramid or something.
Maybe an anti-matter Proton (negatron?) is a configuration where the above is inverted, where the number of positrons outnumbers the electrons in the massive N thing, and then 2 electrons are attracted to be near it (e-A-e).
Maybe all the randome 100s of different short lived things the collider makes are non-stable broken versons of the massive thing. And it's all positrons and electrons all the way down.
Maybe spin is the way the mickey-ear thing is pointing.
