Where can I get a replacement for my T500mAE250v fuse in my dsl40c? I have found slow blow 500mA 250v fuses but, that isn't the same as the one I removed. Seems the E in the part number indicates some kind of "break" value. I have searched this site, talked to Amplified parts and still have no source.
Can I just use the slow blow 500mA 250v fuse in the HT slot?

I couldn't find anything either on a T1AE250V so I ordered the slo blo which hasn't arrived yet. Someone will chime in...

It’s really unfortunate, but this topic isn’t as simple as it should be.
‘T’ or ‘F’ indicates an IEC spec fuse type, sloblo indicates a UL spec.
The 2 systems are a little different.
It’s best to get a fuse of the intended spec.
Look for the proper brands, eg Littlefuse, Bussman, rather than Chinese crap from amazon.

I found these on the Marshall site. But they do not specify the "E" designation.
marshall.com
20mm Fuse Pack - 0.5 AMP
Pack of 5x 20mm fuses 0.5Amp, 250V. Glass cartridge with nickel-plated end caps
marshall.com marshall.com
I also called my local Marshall Service stations and they didn't have any fuses, nor really knew what I was talking about. They just sell the amps.

1/2 amp T, which designates timed, as in slo blo. If what you ordered is the same physical size and is a 1/2 amp slo blo You should be good.
I find it hard to believe that a Marshall authorized service center can't tell you anything. That's Baffling to me, unless They wanted you to bring your amp in as they suspect the ht fuse blew because of an output tube failure, which is very possible, and usually the cause of ht fuse failure...
So keep that possibility in mind. Fuses usually blow for a reason.
If your still in doubt about the fuse email Marshall directly and ask them.

My fuse blew from my ham fisted adjusting the bias. If you go too far counter clockwise the fuse blows. Now I know ; )
Edit. I found this was not the issue. My issue was when I removed the board I disconnected the harnesses and when I put it back I failed to hook up the harness near the dash pots. My bad.
